The FACES Certification is valid for one year from the date of issuance. After one year, the certification must be renewed through the renewal process outlined on the Site. This process includes a renewal fee, and passing a recertification exam. Failure to renew the certification within the one year period will result in the certification becoming invalid and the individual will be required to retake the program to regain certification.
